WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SPORTS MEMORY?
It’s not exactly a sports memory, but my husband proposed to me on Opening Day, which he thought a fitting day to start a new adventure. He did not propose during the game, for which I am eternally grateful.
WHAT’S YOUR PET’S NAME?
Olive. She’s a pit bull mix we found one cold January morning and we weren’t even sure if we’d be able to keep her, so we didn’t name her right away. She has gorgeous green eyes, which suggested the name. But if I’m being honest, I had recently re-watched Little Miss Sunshine and the little girl’s resilient spirit, and her eccentric and adoring family had a lot to do with the decision.
WHAT IS THE BEST SINGLE DAY ON THE CALENDAR?
New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day. For the past 25 years we have had a big, themed NYE party and the next morning a good portion of the guests return for brunch. Everyone should have a couple of days surrounded by their favorite people with food and drink and laughter.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MUSICAL?
I fell in love with Come From Away when it played the Aronoff Center. I didn’t know what to expect but it was poignant and inspiring. It’s a show everyone should see if given the chance.
IF YOU WERE A FOOD ITEM, WHAT WOULD YOU BE AND WHY?
The potato gets a bad rap, but it’s remarkable! It’s versatile, popular in any country, and always satisfying. Plus no one ever says “no” to potatoes.
