Tim David, Game Day Communications’ Director of Esports, has been involved in the esports industry since 2012 as a player, coach, consultant, and university director. Getting his start in League of Legends, he competed in online and LAN events throughout the U.S. through college. In 2017, he had the opportunity to travel to Seoul, South Korea to see how the esports industry had been built and how it has thrived since the 1990s. In 2018, he created and led the esports athletic program at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University.

Favorite sports memory

Watching the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks with my dad at The Gardens. Going to Columbus Blue Jackets vs Philadelphia Flyers games with my brothers. Go Flyers!

Favorite esports memory

Watching live at Madison Square Garden for the League of Legends World Semi- Finals, SKT1 vs Koo Tigers, best of five. Best series of all time!
