Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber partners with Game Day Communications to offer social media training sessions
The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber has selected Game Day Communications to provide social media training beginning Friday, Sept. 18 with sessions offered each month through December. All sessions will be held at the Chamber offices located in the Carew Tower.Jackie Reau, CEO of Game Day Communications, a sports and entertainment communications firm that offers social media strategies to companies and organizations, will present each seminar. She was recently named as a faculty member for the Word of Mouth Marketing Association and teaches social media/public relations at the College of Mt. St. Joseph and the University of Cincinnati.
In this session, participants will learn the fundamentals of social networking and how to strategically use the following platforms: Facebook.com, Linkedin.com, Twitter.com and Youtube.com. We will also discuss how to launch a “social media network” using your company’s web site and content. Participants will also learn how to create a scorecard for measurement of social media efforts.
Social Media and Business-to-Business Applications, Friday, November 6, 9-11 a.m.
In this session, participants will learn best practices on how to use social networking to reach a B-to-B audience with successful case studies. We will discuss how to develop a targeted community and how to interact and engage them on a regular basis. We will also discuss how to leverage social media to successfully position your company and leadership.
Social Media 201: What’s Next for 2010, Friday, December 11
This session is designed for those advanced social networkers and will discuss how to create and build buzz around your content. We will discuss how to create your own internet media network from internet TV and radio as well as your own branded community using new platforms similar to Facebook.com. We will also discuss successful case studies in which companies and organizations have used social media to increase revenue as well as brand awareness.
The cost for each session is $79 for Chamber members and $99 for non-members and is open to the general public (each session is limited to the first 30 to register). Participants will receive a Social Media Guide and will be invited to a social media community via Linkedin.com for on-going support and assistance.
